Removing Animals From a Dryer Vent or Air Duct



Every person wants their home to be secure from the animals that carry germs, and spread various diseases. People, who are worried because of the mammals that get into their dryer vent and get to rid of them, read the following suggestions. 

Can animals get into dryer vent? 
Yes, they can. The clothing dryer vent is a secure shelter for the animals, especially in the cold weather. An animal that is looking for shelter due to cold, your dryer vent can be an attractive place for them due to hot air that comes out of it. Birds and mice are the most common animals that you may find with your dryer vent. Other animals that can also live in the dryer vent are raccoons, bat, snakes, and squirrels.

If you find dropping in the air duct or just an odor, then you can clean it by yourself. You can clean the Air duct very deeply, and while doing this process, you may find dead animals in the deep. But if the animals have crowed back in the deep and you cannot reach them that make it difficult to catch them in air duct.   • Vacuum
  • Duct gloves
  • Screwdriver
  • Old cloth and rags
  • Cleaning brush


Steps
  • Clean the place around the ducts, so the no external object get into the duct
Remove the cover of Air duct with the help of screwdriver
  • Check all the walls and piping to see the animals or their dropping
  • Use a cloth to remove the walls, or you can use the rag do, do it softly.
  • Now use a vacuum to clean the Air duct.
  • Repeat this process in all the Air duct parts.
